TIME TO VOTE FOR THE NEXT GOVERNOR OF LOUISIANA!

Okay Members it is time to decide who the Governor of this state will be. The Candidates that are recommended by the state association are Walter Boasso and Foster Campbell. All of the candidates running were sent a questionaire to answer concerning issues that we are concerned with and then invited to the LAE office in Baton Rouge to be interviewed personally by the LAE Election committee and local association presidents. candidates responded to the questionaire, but not all showed up for the interview. Other candidates, such as Bobby Jindel, said they would appear,but never did. The final decision was based upon the answer to the questionaire, the interview by the committee and local presidents, and the voting records of these gentlemen for the past year. LAE keeps track of the voting records of all Louisiana State Senators and Representatives on all issues. The voting records are then matched against the LAE's legislative agenda to see if the poiticians are friends of education,and therefore us,or not. This year two candates in the governor's race proved to be worthy of our loyalty. Those two were Walter Boasso and Foster Campbell. These two men have very different platforms and have a difficult race ahead of them as Bobby Jindel is the front runner at this time. According to all poles we followed, the race will be determined by the UNDECIDED VOTERS at this time. We need to get the voters out to vote. We need to vote for either of the two candidates we have chose. I respect the decision of every one of our members and the right to vote for whoever they choose, but I am asking you all to consider Walter Boasso or Foster Campbell. Thank you all.
